The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup India 2023 is set to take place from October 5 to November 19, 2023 as ten of the world’s greatest teams battle it out to win the prestigious ICC Cricket World Cup trophy.
This will be the thirteenth edition of the 50-over tournament and the fourth to be held in India.
The opening match of the 2023 50-overs Cricket World Cup will be the rematch of the 2019 final, i.e., England vs. New Zealand on October 5 in Ahmedabad, while Team India will open their campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8. The blockbuster India vs Pakistan match is on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

2023 Cricket World Cup Venues
India will entirely host the Cricket World Cup 2023. It will be the first time that India will be hosting the tournament solely, after co-hosting the 1987, 1996, and 2011 tournaments with other countries on the Indian subcontinent.
There will be a total of 10 venues used – Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune. In addition to that, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will host the warm-up matches from 29 September to 3 October.
