The countdown to the WWE’s ultimate thrill ride and upcoming PPV, Wrestlemania 33 (ultimate thrill ride), has already begun. WWE Wrestlemania 33: Bill Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar – Preview

Goldberg, who returned to WWE arena after long 12 years hiatus, has also stirred up fresh controversies in one way or other. He quoted words like “belt” and “miserable” that roused more speculations and rumours in the WWE universe about whether he has the same strength now that we witnessed in the past.

However, slamming Brock Lesnar within 90 seconds using 2 spears and 1 Jackhammer was no joke. It almost took fans back to 90s era when Goldberg thrashed whoever came in his way. Undisputedly, Wrestlemania 33 will be all about strength – surely, this isn’t going to be the replica of a short fight that fans saw at Survival Series 2016 main event.

Bill Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar: What’s at stake?

Goldberg might be older than the beast incarnate, but his powerful finishing moves can make anyone literally a “fallen star” on the marquee event like Wrestlemania. No matter, how the fans booed both the stars at the Wrestlemania 20 in 2004, but still the match was an intense one with Stone Cold Steve Austin as its special guest referee. In the end, Goldberg emerged victorious – following which both the superstars left WWE for different reasons.

Brock Lesnar returned to ring in 2012 after 8 years, and since then he never looked back. He became stronger and more powerful than ever with each passing year. Hope WWE fans could well remember how the beast broke Shawn Michael and Triple H’s arms in 2012. He then went on to conquest the streak by defeating the legend Undertaker at Wrestlemania 30 in 2014.

Goldberg’s return was no less exceptional. He defeated Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series 2016 and then followed the same by eliminating the beast by clothsline at Royal Rumble 2017. He was also crowned WWE Universal Champion at Fastlane last month on defeating Kevin Owens in just 22 seconds. But his short duration encounters are also drawing the ire of WWE fans.

Who will win the Wrestlemania main event match?

The WWE Universally is now virtually divided into two factions; Brock Lesnar fans and Goldberg Admirers. Will it be Brock Lesnar who’s one F5 is enough to finish a wrestler or Goldberg who is known for dominating the wrestling arena using two iconic finishing moves? Goldberg defeated most wrestlers in his entire fighting career spanning around 2 decades using just 3-4 moves per match.

Wrestlemaina 33 main event will go considerably around 10 minutes. At Wrestlemania 20, these two superstars literally fought for 9 minutes. So, fans can expect it to run at least 10 minutes now. As far as their previous clashes are concerned that began in 2004, and about to conclude this Sunday, its 3-0 in favor of Goldberg. Yes, it may sound surreal but the beast incarnate has never been able to outfox the myth – Bill Goldberg – ever in his life. Can he do it one final time at Orlando (US)? Well, only the time will reveal.

Don’t write off Bill Goldberg after Wrestlemania main event – he hasn’t hung his boots officially as yet! Your jaws will definitely remain wide open at the kind of ‘bloodfest’ that you may witness this Sunday between these two monsters! Are you ready?
