No doubt, after facing a humiliating defeat at the hand of the KKR a day back, Gujarat Lions will try hard to make a comeback at this match with a win. KKR made a complete mockery of Gujarat Lion’s bowling attack by chasing down 184-run target in just 15 overs to wrap the match without losing any wicket.
KKR opening pair Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn contributed heavily with the bat racing to the winning target with their 184-run winning partnership for the first wicket on Friday.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, keeping up the winning momentum is all that matters. They defeated the mighty RCB in the opening game by 35 runs. This victory has certainly boosted their confidence to perform well at the upcoming matches too.
The good news for the team is the sublime form of SRH all-rounders; Moises Henriques, Ben Cutting and Yuvraj Singh – who can incapacitate the opponents anytime with their all-round performances.

After their shocking defeat at the hands of KKR, Suresh Raina-led Gujarat Lions will be under immense pressure to perform. Nothing is going their way. Aussie all-rounder James Faulkner is set to represent the team on Sunday. He may replace the out-of-form Dwayne Smith.
Apart from it, Faulkner will also boost the Gujarat’s lusterless bowling attack with no specialist fast bowler of international fame in the sqaud. At the last match, fast bowlers like Dhawal Kulkarni and Praveen Kumar didn’t pose any stiff challenge to Gambhir and company.
Hence, GL will take their bowling seriously in today’s match. As usual, Jason Roy, Brendon McCullum, Aaron Finch and Suresh Raina will form the core of Gujarat’s batting while D Karthik and Faulkner are set to bat down the order.
Contrarily, Sunrisers Hyderabad have a strong bowling attack with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra and Cutting at the helm of their bowling department. Also, leg-spinner Rashid Khan, the Afghan player, making his IPL debut this season, is expected to grab some spotlight too.
