Suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) getting bundled out for 49, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are desperate to win the Tuesday’s clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). This was the lowest total ever recorded in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Royal Challengers are currently languishing at the bottom of the IPL 2017 Points Table with four points from two wins out of seven clashes. This match will be crucial for RCB to keep their chance of staying alive in the tournament. On the other hand, SRH are currently standing at the third spot with 8 points from seven games and four wins. For SRH, the good news is the lack of consistency of RCB’s top three batsmen; Kohli, Ab De Villiers and Gayle who didn’t perform as per the expectations at IPL 10 so far barring one or two knocks.

With a strong bowling unit, SRH will definitely have a golden chance to outfox RCB and earn two crucial points to go up the points table. If RCB continue to play recklessly as they did in their previous match, it is hardly of anybody’s guess that SRH will not lose an opportunity to beat Kohli and Co. easily at their own backyard in Bangalore.

One or two more defeats could literally shut the door for RCB from cruising into the Play-off stage. Sunrisers are in a sublime form after registering four consecutive wins in their last four matches. SRH’s opening pair of David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan garnered 235 and 282 runs respectively in seven games, which is definitely a strong point for the men-in-orange jersey.

All-rounder Moises Henriques (193 runs) also performed well with the bat throughout IPL 10. SRH skipper Warner will definitely expect something big once again from its team in both batting and bowling department.
Inconsistent Yuvraj Singh will also have golden opportunity to regain his form tomorrow against RCB. In his previous match against RCB at Hyderabad, the veteran southpaw hammered 27-ball 62 with 7 boundaries and 3 sixes.
Overall, SRH are a very determined team with a balanced batting and bowling combination. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan are still amongst the leading wicket takers of the tournament with 16 and 10 wickets respectively. Fast Bowler Siddharth Kaul is also pretty lethal with the ball during the death overs.
