The defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face the upbeat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Hyderabad tomorrow night. Both teams are swiftly moving up the order at IPL Points Table with some sublime all-round performances on the ground.
KKR vs SRH is touted to be an exhilarating one as both teams will fight tooth and nail to win this game. KKR definitely want to secure its place in the play-off with a victory while SRH would also like to gain crucial two points to move up in the IPL points table.
Man of the Moment: Captain Gautam Gambhir (KKR)
KKR Captain Gautam Gambhir is a fighter. His own form has been pretty consistent so far steering KKR to several wins this season. The southpaw is currently leading the orange cap race with 376 runs from 9 matches with 4 fifties to his credit at a strike rate of 137.

If Gambhir is eyeing for anything this season then it is the KKR’s third IPL title to etch the team’s insignia into the IPL’s record book as the first team to win three IPL tournaments.
Team News for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
KKR’s Manish Pandey and Robin Uthappa are in sublime touch too. Yusuf Pathan is someone whose bat does all the talk. Pathan was the hero of KKR’s match against the Delhi Daredevils when the right-handed batsman hammered match-winning 39-ball 59 under pressure.
Then KKR can also utilise the newly found pinch hitting talent of Sunil Narine in Hyderabad. The ace-spinner has a strike rate of 178 and can hit ball down the ground without any trouble.
KKR’s only weakness is their weakness. They are not as faster as SRH so the latter will definitely have some competitive advantage than the Gambhir’s squad. But then KKR bowling units including the likes of Umesh Yadav, Nathan CoulterNile and Kuldeep Yadav can simply slay any batting combination with their fiery bowling skills.
Team News for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)
With an awesome match-winning combination of batsmen and bowlers, SRH are a team to reckon with. Beating SRH at their own playground isn’t going to be that much simpler for KKR. David Warner’s immaculate captaincy has now brought the team to the Play-off stage – albeit a couple of wins away.
In regard to the venue (Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium), it is the most balanced track in IPL supporting both batsmen and bowler. The inclusion of Kane Williamson in SRH squad gave a massive boost to the team’s middle order.
The Kiwi captain produced two match winning performances in his three outings. With a strike rate of 178, and average of 82, Kane Williamson is certainly the most impactful player of SRH team now. SRH’s bowling is fearsome too. SRH’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Nehra and Kaul are doing pretty well with the new ball. In fact, Bhuvi is leading this season’s purple cap race too with 18 wickets in 8 matches. Rashid Khan and Henriques are also expected to bowl well on Sunday’s match in front of their home crowd.
