New Delhi 2nd June, 2016 – Racing Driver Ricky Donison of BPC Racing team continued his unbeaten winning streak from the National Kart Open Championship by winning all the four races in the Rotax Asia Max Championship. The 4th round of the Rotax Asia Challenge was held at the Sepang Karting Circuit in Malaysia on May 28th and 29th.
Ricky Donison continued his dominant form in the Senior Max Category. He put in a clean sweep as he took the pole position, won both the heats, pre final and Final. He was followed by Sylvano Christian (Indonesia) who finished second. Ricky has won 2 rounds and finished 3rd in two rounds, thus finishing in the podium in all the four rounds held till now. Asia Max Championship consists of 6 rounds and Ricky is overall second in the Championship. He is trailing by 5 points from Sylvano Christian.
With two more rounds to go Ricky is confident of closing in on the points gap and win the championship. Ricky commented ‘ I always go into the race to win. I had technical snags in my engine in the first round and third round and did not have the pace. Engineers have identified the problem and corrected it and hence came back strongly in the current round. I am confident of taking this form forward and go on and win the championship’.
Ricky will also be starting his quest for the Third National Championship title in a row this weekend in Bangalore at the first round of the JK Tyre FMSCI National Rotax Karting Championship to be Held at MECO Kartopia.
