Coimbatore, 30thMarch 2016: West Bromwich Albion, a renowned English Premier League (EPL) team, is conducting a Premier football camp in Coimbatore from the 18th to 29th of April 2016. The football camp, held as a part of DISHA (an EduSports Performance Sports initiative) will build high performing footballers from schools. The camp aims to impart high quality training for children, who have a passion for football and willing to excel in the same.
David Cooper, who has a wealth of experience coaching in UK and USA, will be the Head Coach of the camp. David has been certified in coaching by the Scottish Football Association and American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and is also well trained in first-aid, child protection and risk assessment.
The camp is open for children in the age group of 8-15 years. There will be two sessions per day; Morning session – 8:00am to 10.30am and Afternoon session – 3:30pm to 6:00pm. Children have the flexibility to choose either of the session according to their convenience. Free transportation for the participants will be provided from major locations in the city.
