India will play Sri Lanka in the second T20I of three match series in Ranchi on Friday. India lost first T20 in Pune by 5 wickets. Indian batting collapsed in green Pune wicket. Young Sri Lanka attack was impressive and bowled according to the plans. India would be looking to rectify their mistakes and level the series. Indian bowling was impressive as they made total of 101 difficult. This series was termed as the preparation for Asia Cup and ICC World T20 and both the teams would like to test their combinations before the mega event begins.

Dhoni and co would be looking for familiar sub-continent conditions and would like their batsman to continue their Australian form. Dhoni termed Pune wicket as English conditions and he was not very much disturbed by defeat as he knows team would not counter similar conditions going into Asia Cup or T20 World Cup. Both Ashwin and Jadeja bowled well in the first T20 and would like to spin a web around inexperienced Lankan middle order. Pawan Negi may get chance to debut because team management would like to test him before the Asia Cup. Sri Lanka would be looking up to their batsman to score runs as they would get India out for 101 daily.
