India will play Sri Lanka in the second T20I of three match series in Ranchi on Friday. India lost first T20 in Pune by 5 wickets. Indian batting collapsed in green Pune wicket. Young Sri Lanka attack was impressive and bowled according to the plans. India would be looking to rectify their mistakes and level the series. Indian bowling was impressive as they made total of 101 difficult. Dhoni and co would be looking for familiar sub-continent conditions and would like their batsman to continue their Australian form. Dhoni termed Pune wicket as English conditions and he was not very much disturbed by defeat as he knows team would not counter similar conditions going into Asia Cup or T20 World Cup. India would be looking to score big or chase down whatever total is set by the Lankans. Both Ashwin and Jadeja bowled well in the first T20 and would like to spin a web around inexperienced Lankan middle order. Rahane would be looking to get some runs under his belt and challenge Dhawan for openers slot in coming series.

Pawan Negi may get chance to debut because team management would like to test him before the Asia Cup.
