In the wake of the successful ILOVEUNITEDINDIA event in Bangalore Manchester United has today announced a second event in Mumbai on Sunday 28th February.
ILOVEUNITEDINDIA, a unified fan-focussed event, will be held at Reliance Jio Gardens, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East and will include a live screening of the Club’s much anticipated home game against old rivals, Arsenal.
Attended by Manchester United Ambassador, Denis Irwin and club legend and MUTV presenter David May, the fan-focused event will also include entertainment, giveaways and competitions, courtesy of the Club’s commercial partners.
Denis and David will take part in an on-stage Q&A, sharing personal anecdotes from their time at the Club, as well as offering their pre and post-match analysis of the game.
A highlight of the event is a specially-created Churu Churu tournament presented by Manchester United’s Global Partner, NISSIN. The tournament will see fans battle it out in a test of agility and skill on an inflatable, slippery football pitch! Information on how to participate will be available at the official INDO NISSIN Facebook page – www.facebook.com/CupNoodles.
In addition to this, for the first time, a 3v3 contest will be launched which will see teams of three players battle it out in a traditional football tournament. To enter a team into 3v3 visit www.manutd.com/
The winning teams from both competitions will be awarded with a VIP visit to Old Trafford, where they will watch a Manchester United home game and take in the atmosphere of The Theatre of Dreams.
Manchester United’s Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold comments:
“Football is a hugely popular sport in India and we are overwhelmed by the passion and support we receive from our 35 million followers in the country.
“A fan viewing party was hosted in Delhi earlier this year and the fans’ fantastic response to this event lead to India being at the top of the list of destinations for the 2016 events. The event just hosted in Bangalore was a huge success and we are looking forward to bringing this experience to Mumbai next month.”
The event is free to attend and fans are asked to apply online for tickets by visiting www.ManUtd.com/
