Sony SIX, (a part of Multi Screen Media Network – MSM), India’s Premier Sports Entertainment Channel will broadcast the Pro Wrestling League, along with Sony MAX and Sony PAL. The league commences on 10th December 2015, and will be hosted in 5 cities across India.
The season will kick start in New Delhi, and will proceed to Ludhiana, Gurgaon, Noida, and Bengaluru, before circling back to New Delhi for the finals on 27th December, 2015. A total of 18 matches will be held during the entire span of the tournament. The league consists of six teams – Delhi Veer, CDR Punjab Royals, Haryana Hammers, UP Warriors, Mumbaiche Garude and Bengaluru Yodhha. Each team comprises nine wrestlers with five Indian and four international players ( five men and four women compose each team). The league will feature a number of star wrestlers from across the world including Sushil Kumar, Yogeshwar Dutt, Vladimir Khinchegashvili, Vasilisa Marzaliuk, Adeline Gray, Babita Kumari, Sofia Mattsson, NavruzovI Khtiyor, Petriashvili Geno , Vinesh Phogat, Yesilirmak E, Narsingh Yadav, Oksana Herhel and Amit Dhankar to name a few.
The Pro Wrestling League will simulcast on Sony SIX, SIX HD, Sony MAX and PAL with dual commentary in Hindi and English. MSM’s video-on-demand platform Sony LIV will stream the tournament live online.
