Indian Super League – A success story to become Asia’s No. 1 football league
Since the establishment of the concept of Indian Super League (ISL) in the year of 2013, the league is showing its potential in the whole world. In the very beginning, no one could imagine the popularity of the tournament especially in a country, where cricket is considered as the religion. But thanks to the popularity of Indian Premier League (IPL), the leading corporates with some leading sports loving personals tried to give a try to make football popular in the cricket loving country. Country’s leading celebrities also showed their interest to launch the tournament. Now at the end of the tournament, it became the Asia’s leading football tournament.

As per the league rule, a side can play a maximum six foreign players in their playing eleven. As a result of these ISL not only become the Asia’s most attended football league, but it will surely help Indian Football to improve their football ranking.
