In an utter surprise to everyone, Sachin Tendulkar discussed in length about the Multan incident when Rahul Dravid declared an innings while the Master Blaster was just six runs short of his double hundred. Tendulkar wanted to end this controversy for one and all. Sachin stated that he is always asked about the incident and it would be the best chance to end this controversy in front of his colleagues.
When Dravid was asked about the Multan incident, he refuted that any confrontation took place between him and Sachin after the match. Dravid further elaborated that there are times when you may have some disagreements with other players, especially when you play together for more than fifteen years, then it is quite natural to have differences in few cases.
However, Dravid felt happy about the outcome of that Test. Dravid handed the bowl to Sachin and asked him to bowl on the last day of the test match and Sachin stood up to the occasion well. He took the prized wicket of Moin khan the then Pakistan’s wicket keeper and specialized batsman.
