The Sports Mirror is a leading website on sports news, reviews, opinions, fixtures and live scores from India and around the world and will be looking for Student Brand Managers to be our campus representatives for 2014/15.
You’ll need plenty of imagination, determination and charm. Along the way you’ll learn important career skills, like building a network, guerrilla marketing and events management. As a Student Brand Manager you will:
- Develop our brand on campus through various promotional channels
- Implement promotional campaigns throughout the academic year
- Use your existing network of contacts within societies, campus media and your student union to identify opportunities to support our local marketing needs, in addition to establishing new contacts
- Use social media sites to interact with our campus networks in order to create a buzz encouraging students to positively engage with us and our opportunities
- Implement creative solutions and initiatives to build our brand on campus and ensure we stand out
- Use your extensive campus knowledge and own initiative to ensure that each campaign reaches our target market and promotes our brand
- Create and build a major ‘The Sports Mirror’ summer student event
- Provide us with relevant and timely feedback and ideas on how to improve our marketing strategy on campus

We are ideally seeking students who are currently doing a Marketing, Journalism & Mass Communication or related degree, however we would consider applicants who can demonstrate a strong interest in marketing. Students must currently be studying at the university/college as the ‘The Sports Mirror’ would be promoting as an undergraduate, and will be in their second or penultimate year of undergraduate study for the 2014/15 academic year.
