March 2013- The world’s largest selling gadget magazine Stuff, India in association with South Mumbai’s state of the art gaming centre Smaash invites you to showcase your bowling skills with the first edition of ‘Gamethon’.
Gamethon is a monthly tournament targeted towards all sport aficionados to be held at Smaash; a new sports-centric immersive and interactive entertainment centre offering a mix of active and passive entertainment, innovative games, interactive sports and socialising and eating areas. The tournament will comprise of individual games every month, beginning with Bowling followed by Basketball, Cricket etc. The event will comprise of a knockout stage and finals out which 3 winners will be chosen based on the best scores.
Speaking on this initiative, Nishant Padhiar, Editor Stuff India says “We saw this as a great opportunity to associate with a gaming zone and promote sport as a recreational and fun activity since Mumbai does not have many places promoting sports.
