Let us have a look at next three teams in the table:
Rajasthan Royals: Points: 10 | Matches left: 5 | Opponents: PWI, CSK, PWI, DC, MI.
Rajasthan Royals are currently at fifth position in the table. Rajasthan Royals, the champions of the maiden IPL, have been only a shadow that performance in the following seasons. This year, Rahul Dravid has taken charge as their captain, he indeed inspired the team. Ajinkya Rahane, Brad Hodge, Dinesh Chandimal and Owais Shah are the main members of their batting line-up, they have been performing well. All-rounders Johan Botha and with Shane Watson joining the team mid-season has given them good boast. If the team can repeat the magic of 2008, they will surprise everyone once again.
Rajasthan need to win at least 4 games. Their matches against CSK, PWI and MI are at Jaipur where they are formidable and expected to win these games. They have pull off a one from games away from home against PWI and DC.
Pune Warriors India: Points: 8 | Matches left: 4 | Opponents: RR, RCB, PWI, KKR.
Pune Warriors is the youngest member of IPL. Sourav Ganguly is the captain and mentor of the team in absence of Yuvraj Singh. Pune might not look much strong on papers but they’ve got some quality players. Robin Uthappa, Graeme Smith, Callum Ferguson, Manish Pandey, Jessey Ryder, Tamim Iqbal and Marlon Samuels are their strength in batting. They don’t have a great Bowling attack. Ashok Dinda, Rahul Sharma and Ashish Nehra are their prime bowlers. They don’t have a great international bowler. Pune played well initial matches and now they have lost their way with 5 consecutive losses. Even if Pune win all 4 matches, they stand no chance to make it to top 4 spots.
Deccan Chargers: Points: 5 | Matches left: 6 | Opponents: RCB, KXIP, DD, KXIP, RR, RCB.
Deccan Chargers is not the best team in this IPL season. They have relatively weaker attack compared to squad in previous years. Skipper Kumar Sangakkara leads the batting department with JP Duminy, Sunny Sohal, Parthiv Patel, Shikhar Dhawan and Darren Bravo. But with their current form the chances are not really great for the Chargers. But even though they manage to win all games, yet they reach 17 points which would not be enough to make it to top 4. But now they have nothing to loss and they can upset other team’s party.
