India is in full gear to host the hot wheels next month. The Grand Prix preparations are being ticked off the list one by one and it is being made sure that the event sizzles each and every day.
For now, the next thing off the agenda will be the official sponsors of the prix. Mahindra & Mahindra is the final official vehicle partner to Buddh International Circuit (BIC). There will be 25 vehicles be provided my Mahindra & Mahindra and all of them will be Scorpios. They will be the official intervention and support vehicles in the formula 1 race and for various other motor sport races that will take place in the next five years.
This is a huge contract that comes with an even bigger responsibility to the label. The SUV’s are to include 10 VLX 4wd Scorpios, all them the four-wheel drives. There will also be 15 Scorpios getaways 4wd. This partnership, as said by the officials and sponsors, is kept in mind to promote the sport as well as the vehicles. Being such a luxury and tough brand icon, surely Mahindra & Mahindra will have little difficult and much more to love up to.
Vivek Nayer, the senior vice president in the marketing and automotive division in Mahindra & Mahindra said “This partnership is in line with our goal to promote motor sport. This (partnership) will also enhance our other initiatives that we have taken in Moto GP races”.
He also said that the company will be supporting all endeavors of motor sport racing that will take place, besides the F1 race. Other than that Nayer said that they will make sure their part is completed and error-free before and after the event takes place. This is surely a huge responsibility however Mahindra & Mahindra are known for their supreme business ethics and conduct to the whole country.
There has been no financial figures disclosed by any member of the organization relating to the contract as of yet. The only information that was let out was that all the promotions and publicity will be done in full support by Mahindra & Mahindra.
The Indian Grand Prix is dated to commence on the 30th of October of this year. However there are no tickets that are officially released, there is already a huge waiting for them both online and outside. This surely has triggered a roar of excitement for the Indian Motor sport fans as well as pride for all of the country as this would be the first time that India will host such a prestigious event.
