Any game with India and Pakistan comes with obvious thunderous roar from the crowd and there is expected to be natural enmity between the fans however this match had the Pakistani Coach who took over this quota for himself. He was seen swearing and cursing openly, and loudly from the stands whenever the Indian side scored or played their best passes.  He abused the Indian players from his balcony where he was seated and was fuming at the fact that India was in the process to take away the game today.

Nevertheless, team India was in full form and the fact that they were playing their favorite rivals added to their enthusiasm. Rajpal Singh, Danish Mujtaba, Yuvraj Walmiki and Sarvanjit Singh scored in the penalty shootout for India whereas Muhammad Rizwan and Waseem Ahmed scored for their side.

Mujtaba gave the lead to India as he swiftly and tactfully swept the ball aside Shah and scored. The score was left even when Rizwan from their side managed to score a goal too. A star of the team, Rajpal, again gave India the nudge they needed with another goal. The score now read 2-1 and there was still plenty of hockey to be played.

After that Yuvraj made the score read 3-1 and it was down to 3-2 when Waseem from the Pakistan side scored.

Even though Pakistan had several penalty shootout opportunities, India’s defense was much better than they were estimated to be by their opponents. Sreejeesh was on his toes and in high alert throughout the game. Even though Pakistan, who are the Asian Games champions, were constantly trying to push India into their side with their attacks, this time India was prepared to be called the champions.

The match could have ended in the given time however it was more of Pakistan side’s fault as the game dragged in to penalty shootouts where India swept them off their studs. The extra time went on for 15 minutes where finally Yuvraj gave India the winning goal.

This was the moment where the Pakistani coach was into flames and the Indian coach into tears. This was the moment was victory and the perfect end to an India-Pakistan match that every Indian wishes to see.
