“Djokovic: Hey Federer, I defeated Nadal and won Wimbledon, what did you do?
Federer: I met Sachin Tendulkar…”
**end of discussion**
I found this in the internet [of course], Sachin Tendulkar, the little man has spread his name and achievements everywhere. From the litter collector at the nooks of India, the illiterates, the non-cricketing species, till the most famous-soul around the world, knows him. Even the God seems to be in a worry of losing people’s faith! Well, these are the people who know, revere, love, follow, admire, inspire, and pray to Sachin, then who are ones who don’t know or hate Sachin? Perhaps the people who have not at all evolved from the cave-life, the lab-rats who have never seen sunlight in their life, and yeah, the Atheists!
Alas! The God Seems to Get a Home!
Well, relevant to the title, the little star seems to get a home at last, after nearly two decades. It is more than just ‘home’, it is a ‘divine-abode’… Yeah you guessed it right, a Temple! Along with Sachin, Dhoni will also share a place in the temple. Temples don’t have just idols; they have all these great paintings, rococo coverings all over. The wall-doings is all going to be the Team India, which brought all glory to India after 28 years, by winning the World Cup.
The temple idea was proposed and made certain by the ardent cricket follower and avid Sachinmaniac, Bhojpuri actor, Manoj Tiwari. He wishes that his hometown, Atarwalia, Bihar should have a temple for Sachin and MS Dhoni. The big deal is about putting 3 crores for construction of the temple with statues of the two great men, oil paintings, and great decorative structures. Manoj’s idea was a mere reciprocal for the great team and its players for entertaining millions of men and women over the years. He relates this happiness to that what God gives us!
It is not just a temple, there is an extra structure juxtaposing to it [as proposed] a world class stadium, for the budding young cricket players to practice and nurture their skills.
So, what Manoj is going to do is, spiritual or philanthropic or Sachinic?
