Sergio Aguero is expected to undergo medical test in Manchester to seal his £40million move to Eastlands club.
After lot of news floated around his future at Atletico Madrid, finally some actions have taken place. It may come as surprise to hear Aguero coming to England, but no surprise in thinking which team has bided for him. After publicly declaring his hope in signing Aguero, Mancini has made whopping $40 million offer for the Atletico Madrid star striker Sergio Aguero.
At the start of transfer season, Aguero made his future clear that he wants to move to better and winning club even though legendry Diego Maradona claimed his son-in-law will stay in Madrid, rumors were floating continuously including the move back to his home club Corinthians.
Aguero doesn’t took part in the Atletico pre-season training following his return from Copa America which led to indict his clear intention to leave the club and City close down his deal. With the deal almost close to be done, it is been widely tipped around in City that Aguero might be a direct replacement for want away captain Tevez.
Any doubts are now put to bed as the 23-year-old will touch down in Manchester to complete his record-breaking transfer. If sources are believed, then Aguero will pen five year deal worth over $200,000 a week at Eastland’s club. Also if the deal goes on to complete, then it will see Aguero become the second most expensive player to be signed after Fernando Torres.
With doubts surrounding around Adebayor, Dzeko’s poor first season and Tevez continuous pursuit to leave the club will certainly help Aguero to start as number one striker for the club if he decides to join.
Charles N’Zogbia heading to Villa
Aston villa have agreed $9.5m fee for the Wigan Athletic winger which will mark the end of Mcleish long pursuit for Zogbia. In a press statement, McLesih sounded very happy and hoping to complete the deal as soon as possible.
He said “He is an exciting player and someone I’ve admired for quite a while. I’m pleased we’ve managed to agree a fee and hope we can reach agreement with Charles as soon as possible”. Charles has been seen as direct replacement for Downing who left for Liverpool earlier this month.
