So many have praised Sachin Tendulkar, but no praise will ever be worthy enough to describe him.
India in all likely hoods will lose the first test match against South Africa, but frankly speaking nobody will remember it, all we will remember will be Sachin Tendulkar breaking records and being the first cricketer to make 50 centuries in test cricket.
As he made that 100 he looked into the greying skies and the entire country probably gave him a standing ovation, that’s not something that happens everyday.
A storm was brewing in South Africa but little did anyone realize it would be Sachin Tendulkar who would cause it. Sachin and Dhoni together attacked the South African bowling to great effect, India managed to make 117 between Lunch and Tea on day 4 without losing a wicket.
Dhoni and Sachin continued their attack but Dale Steyn struck with his brilliant pace and bowled a bouncer that rose high and Dhoni got caught by Mark Boucher, he missed his century by 10runs.
Harbhajan Singh came and went taking India’s dream of salvaging a draw.
Dravid managed a 43 from 109 balls and Raina made 5 showing the whole country that he’s still there in the team and is on no use what so ever.
Day 4 ended with everybody running off the field with hats and attire flying all over the place and Sachin still bating at 107 with Sreesanth on the other side. He will now attempt so save it from becoming an innings defeat.
Sachin Tendulkar on being asking about his 50 Ton said that it was for his father whose birthday was one day before he made his century. What is most remarkable about the little master is that he is still down to earth.
Anybody in his place would have lost their marbles long ago; it is a mark of how much passion and respect he has for the sport that he still has his beliefs and principles intact.
So for all we know the planets will align to carry out the storm till tomorrow and make it a draw, a bummer for South Africa whose efforts have been flawless, but lets face it between India and South Africa the choice is quite obvious. Fingers crossed.
