Melbourne, Dec 06: As England was successful in saving the first test match against the Aussies in the ongoing Ashes series, on the other side England’s former star batsman Marcus Trescothick, has got a very huge offer of USD 1.56 million, for hitting the ball out of the historic Lord’s stadium. Marcus Trescothick, who still plays the county cricket in his homeland after getting retired from International cricket, has got a very good opportunity to earn loads of cash for sailing the ball over the 210 feet from the Nursery end landmarks at Lord’s.

The striking batsman was received this ominous offer from the Mongoose, for repeating the feat that was achieved only once in the history of cricket, according to the “The Herald Sun” newspaper. Mongoose said that Marcus Trescothick, is well set and have the capabilities to clinch the historic feat, which was earlier achieved only once by Australian Albert Trott, who cleared the 50 foot tall building during a match for Marylebone Cricket Club, way back in 1899. The tall and attacking stroke maker will be given the Mongoose bat during the match, which is specially designed for shortest formats of cricket of T20.

He may have lacking the emotional and physical strength in professional cricket, but that has not stopped the Mongoose bat makers company to give an opportunity to former consistent English player. Marcus is ready to sign a sponsorship deal with the Mongoose Bats and will use the long handle bat next season, and can win the very huge prize, if he get succeed in clearing the three tier pavilion at Lord’s in any 20-40 format game for Somerset next summer in June. “Technology is becoming better and better and the cricketers are working harder and sweating in the gym and also the new T20 format has enhanced their power.” said Marcus who has a record of 84 sixes for country and his domestic T20 format has 49 tally of sixes.

Hello everyone this is Ronak Parekh and I’m currently student of S.Y.B.M.M. I’m 20 years old from Mumbai. I choose my career in B.M.M because I always wanted to do something which is of my interest. And my passion has always been sports especially cricket and F1. I really want to be linked with sports in my future. B.M.M course gives the opportunity in journalism from where I can move to sports category. When I was child I always used to play and watch cricket a lot which usually most of the people does. I gained my interest in F1 due to only one man and that was none other than seven time world champion Michael Schumacher. Actually I’m also very passionate about cars so it is really fun when I see this sport. Today I’m really excited about getting an opportunity to do internship for three months with the sports mirror, where I will have full freedom to express my views and opinions regarding every sport. I definitely will try my best to write the articles as good as possible which would be worth interesting for readers. I really whole heartedly thanking the sports mirror again for giving me this vital opportunity and I promise I will make the most of it.
