Berlin, Nov 29: Roger Federer was successful in narrowing the gaps between him and Rafael Nadal, in the men’s ATP rankings, by winning with three sets in the finals of the World Tour, against his top Spaniard rival Rafael Nadal. The ATP latest ranking was released on Monday. Though Rafael Nadal is way in front of the former World no 1 by 3,000 points, but Roger Federer has came close to his way, and is heading ahead faster and faster. The only difference in ATP rankings this time is that Andy Murray, who gone through the semi finals in London, has stolen the place of Robin Soderling of Sweden. The Scottish player has taken the fourth position.
Rafael Nadal gave a great performance by winning the French Open and the Wimbledon this summer. Rafael continued his winning stroke at US Open, but Roger Federer was at last successful in clinching, his first Grand Slam title this year by winning Australian Open. Nadal and Federer are in top two spot in the year’s ending since 2005, which shows how consistent these players are.
