As the Hercules MTB Himachal 2010 rally enters into Day 6, the challenges ahead for the riders have only increased. However, it is the indomitable spirit of mankind which keeps the Hercules MTB Riders going to achieve what seems almost impossible.

Ajay Pandit who is leading the race since Day 2 covered this challenging section in 1 hour 49 min and 11 secs . This is the fastest timeever as the previous record was of 1 hour 50min. Ramesh Chander of Indian Army adventure wing was the second fastest rider to reach Jalori pass taking a total time of 1 hour 49 min and 16 sec.
44 riders had started the uphill section and till the time of filing of this report 21 riders had made to the flying finish. It is to be noted that this section had received heavy snowfall 6 days back and race organizers were planning to cancel the stage. However with improvement in weather and riding conditions over the last 4 days helped stage this section of the rally.
